Carlos Escobar is the Founder and CEO of Blackstreet Management, a global multi-family office that offers diverse investment strategies throughout Latin America and abroad. In addition to being a CEO, Carlos is a member of various boards in Chile.
Before establishing Blackstreet, Carlos served as Director and Head of Trading, Derivatives, and Sales at Scotiabank Chile Global Capital Markets for 10 years. Additionally, he served as Chairman of Scotiabank’s Stock Brokerage House. Previously, he held a variety of positions in Capital Markets at BCI and Santander Bank for 15 years. Mr. Escobar was for more than 20 years a professor in the Master programs at several Chilean universities, including Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Universidad Los Andes, and Universidad Finis Terrae.
Carlos earned a Financial Management Doctorate with a major in Derivatives and a Master of Science, both from IE Business School.
He also received an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universidad Central.
During his career, Mr.Parodi has managed: JP Morgan Chile´s Risk Management unit, overseeing the Andean Cone; Scotiabank’s Global Banking and Markets Derivatives unit, overseeing Chile and Perú; and Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) Derivatives Sales and Trading unit.

Carolina has an outstanding record of accomplishments in multinational companies in markets such as finance, services and air transportation. Carolina has strong knowledge of compliance and quality standards with more than 25 years of experience in training, administration and successful reengineering of business departments and companies.
Carolina works as an advisor in Blackstreet Management, in matters related to strategic and operational advisories. Previously, Carolina served as Operations Manager and Management Control Manager at AIG. She served as Director responsible for setting up the Call Center Air France for Latin America, and held different positions in the financial industry, with companies such as Citicorp Stockbrokers and Patagon.com, among others.
Carolina received an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez; she also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Universidad Diego Portales.

Ramon Molina is Director at Blackstreet and Executive Director of the Center for Innovation UC Anacleto Angelini. Additionally, he serves as advisor and director of Fundación Copec -UC, MIGA-UC,CENAMAT-UC,CATA-UC, Red de Innovación Chile, and 3XI among others.
Before establishing XTABLE, Ramon was Executive Director of the UAI Business School and CEO of the Adolfo Ibañez School of Management in the USA and Director of MBA Programs. He founded a training Company for the mining industry, and was board member of a knowhub Company.
Ramon earned an MBA from University of Warwick and Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering with a major in Chemistry from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Tomas Guevara is investment manager at Blackstreet Management.
Tomás has worked as a portfolio manager for over 10 years. Previously, he worked at Banco BCI’s FX and interest rates derivatives trading desk.
Throughout his career, Tomás has specialized in Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income and Derivatives markets, as well as portfolio management and global stock markets.
Tomás holds a Business and Economics degree from the Pontificia Catholic University of Chile.
Jorge is a Business Administration professional with more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has experience in the areas of financial business, commercial management and valuation of companies, among others.
He has served as Deputy Finance Manager of DTS and as Investment Executive of BancoEstado, in addition to Sura Compañía de Seguros. He is an assistant professor of the Chairs of the Magister and Business Administration at the Adolfo Ibáñez University, Andrés Bello and Finis Terrae.
As Deputy Finance Manager, he has successfully participated in liability restructuring negotiations, achieving improvements in the Company’s financial position.
