Carlos Escobar is the Founder and CEO of BlackStreet Management, a global multi-family office that offers diverse investment strategies throughout Latin America and abroad. In addition to being a Business Director, he teaches as a postgraduate professor at several Chilean universities, including Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Universidad Los Andes, and Universidad Finis Terrae. Carlos Escobar is a member of various boards in Chile.
Before establishing BlackStreet, Carlos Escobar served as Director and Head of Trading, Derivatives, and Sales at Scotiabank Chile Capital Markets for 10 years. Additionally, he served as Chairman of Scotiabank’s Stock Brokerage House. Previously, he held a variety of positions in Capital Markets at BCI and Santander Bank for 15 years.
Carlos earned a Management Doctorate and a Master of Science, both from IE Business School.
He also received an MBA from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, as well as a Bachelor of Business from Universidad Central.
Josefina studied Economic and Legal Sciences in Argentina and graduated as an Economist. Her strong aptitudes were recognized by being awarded her university degree in the shortest time possible.
Josefina studied Financial Investment Management at the Adolfo Ibáñez University in Chile. She worked as Associate Retail in the Trading Desk of Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets. Additionally, she worked as trader of currencies and financial derivatives in different stockbrokerages in the Chilean market.
Josefina currently leads the commercial team of BlackStreet Management Chile, managing and analyzing investments in currencies, derivatives and forwards. She is a professor of the Chairs of International Economics and Finance II at the School of Accountants and Auditors of Santiago.
In 2016 she participated as an Expositor Economist in the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, presenting on Coverage Instruments and the Current Situation of the World Economy.
In the course of her professional activity, Josefina has specialized in Portfolio Management with Options and Financial Options Trader at the National Technological University of Buenos Aires. In addition, she holds certifications of Equity Trader in CAMV and teacher training.
Jorge is a Business Administration profesional with more than 10 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has experience in the areas of financial business, commercial management and valuation of companies, among others.
He has served as Deputy Finance Manager of DTS and as Investment Executive of BancoEstado, in addition to Sura Compañía de Seguros. He is an assistant professor of the Chairs of the Magister and Business Administration at the Adolfo Ibáñez University, Andrés Bello and Finis Terrae.
As Deputy Finance Manager, he has successfully participated in liability restructuring negotiations, achieving improvements in the Company’s financial position.
Jorge is currently an executive in the Sales area at BlackStreet Management.
He holds a Master in Financial Management from the Adolfo Ibáñez University; he also holds a degree in Finance from the University of Chile.

Outstanding track record in multinational companies in markets such as finance, service and air transportation. Strong knowledge of compliance and quality standards. Focused on action, the achievement of objectives, the materialization of ideas and productivity optimization.
Previously, Carolina served as Operations Manager and Management Control Manager at AIG, was Director and responsible for setting up the Call Center Air France for Latin America, and held different positions in the financial and internet market, such as Citicorp Stock Brokers and Patagon.com Chile.
